My name is Keziah Babu, and I am a Physician Assistant student at CUNY York College. I graduated from CUNY York College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. My time at York College years allowed me to become familiar with the diverse student body at this school, as well as with the underserved populations surrounding this campus, which is what led me to return to this school to complete my Masters Degree.

During my undergrad and post grad experiences, I made an effort to gain health care experience in a vast array of fields including volunteering at the Child Life Department in Winthrop Hospital, working closely with the geriatric population as a home health aide, volunteering as an EMT-B in Jamaica Estates and working as a scribe and a medical assistant in a pulmonary clinic. Additionally, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to shadow PAs in various settings such as Internal Medicine and Labor and Delivery. I am grateful for the experiences that I’ve had and hope they will shape me to become a better provider for my patients in the future.
